|Joyce A. Mayer Lipe
Joyce A. Mayer Lipe has brought to life, such famous characters as Auntie Mame in "Mame", Mother Abbess in "The Sound of Music", Mrs. Potts in "Beauty in the Beast" and Frances Perkins in "Annie", just to name a few from her repertoire of over thirty theatrical productions. Honored as Best Actress in the North Carolina Theater Competition as Sarah in "Quilters", Joyce was also awarded Best Performance in Regional Theater as Violet in "Talking Heads II". As a singer soloist, Joyce has dazzled audiences with performances with the Cumberland Chorale, the Cumberland Oratorio Singers and the Combined Choirs for Ft. Bragg. Her most amazing accomplishment, she did all while being married to the love of her life, her knight in shining armor, Chuck Lipe. Together they raised two wonderful boys, now with families of their own, Steve and Kevin. Joyce looks forward to broadening her career, if given the chance, by stepping out into film and television. She should have no problems as evidenced in "Special Needs", as she delivers the message of the story with elegance, grace and class.
